While speaking to the Central Western Daily about the launch of a state government website, John Barilaro managed to slip in some praise for Orange as a “wonderful, cosmopolitan city”. 

“I always like coming to a place with a whisky bar, and Washington and Co. is the sort of place you’d expect to find in New York or Surry Hills,” he said. 

Imagine how excited he’ll be to learn Orange has two whisky bars, with the Hotel Canobolas’s own Chesterfield’s Whisky and Wine bar tucked away upstairs. 

That means Orange is twice as good as New York, right? Right?
