Team 1 Middleton suffered their first loss for the season going down to Team 6 Cavalli with wins for Katie Hailes, George Eleftheriou, Lisa Doherty, Chris Elkington and the fiery Frank Cavalli while Pat Clarkstone couldn’t convert a match point going down to Ian Middleton in a marathon match.

Team 5 Ryan beat Team 2 Michell with wins for Albert Cavalli, Yvonne Tracey, Jarrod Collett, Ben Reid, Peter Brearley and the unhygienic Grant Michell while Robert Ryan remains unbeaten after winning in four games against the maniac, Chris Grant.

Team 3 D’Aquino beat Team 4 Blackwood with wins for Scott Baker, Graham Kidson, Darren Wooding, Jodie Wheatley, Kyle Hausmans and Charles D’Aquino won an epic in five while Sonya Fitzgerald stormed out to a two game lead before a severe pep talk fired up the unassuming Steve Blackwood into action which saw fist pumps, sledging and acrobatics rarely seen before.
