And the brand’s parent company, the Retail Food Group [RFG] has announced other Orange shops which are part of its company would not be closing.
RFG announced in its half-yearly report last week that it would be closing 160-200 of its retail shops by 2019.
The Gloria Jean’s shop at the Orange Post Office has closed after the lease expired.
The shop has been gutted in preparation for a new business taking over the space.
A spokesman for the RFG said it was not the end of Gloria Jean’s in Orange.
“We are looking for a different site for the Gloria Jeans store that closed,” he said.
And he confirmed that the Michel’s Patisserie, Pizza Capers and Donut King franchises would not be part of the widespread closures.
“No closures in Orange,” he said.
RFG has announced Gloria Jean’s outlets will change to ‘fast, casual dining including an all-day menu’.
