Knives confiscated after Glenroi incident and search

Tanya Whiteley, 42, of Adina Crescent, was stopped by police on February 3 following an altercation at a home on Kurim Avenue at about 9.30pm.
According to police, Whiteley was told she would be searched for a weapon and officers found two small kitchen knives and a tomahawk multitool in her handbag.
Whiteley told officers she had the knives for protection while she was staying in South Terrace, while the multitool remained in her bag from moving house.
