I came to Orange from out west in the 1950s to work at Bloomfield Hospital and found the flora and fauna at the hospital such a beautiful environment, not only for me but for visitors, patients and staff.
My children played hockey on the oval while the kangaroos watched grazing along the sidelines, never posing a threat.
Last year I attended the cancer services with my daughter who was receiving treatment and patients, carers and staff would look out onto the golf course while the kangaroos entertained us with their baby joeys.
In the last 65 years I have never heard of an attack to anyone on the grounds, so why are they needing to be relocated now?
