On Sunday, March 18, Adam and Lynn Palmer will join the club on the road to raise money for Mrs Palmer’s son – Mr Palmer’s step son – Neal Trevana.
Since Mr Trevana’s colon cancer diagnosis in June last year, he has undergone major surgery and chemotherapy, leaving him unable to work.
As a consequence, the father of two – with another one on the way – is now facing dire health and financial problems.
The motorcycling community plans to help pay for Mr Trevana’s utility bills.
The charity ride will leave from Cook Park at 10am, taking in Molong, Gara, Manildra and Cudal to Bowen Park.
There will be raffles and prizes throughout the day and the $30 entry fee includes lunch at Lake Canobolas.
Club member Steve Doherty said donations are welcome from anyone unable to attend the ride, with all proceeds going to Mr Trevana.
