At the Breakfast with Banjo event at Banjo Paterson Park on Saturday the crowd was reminded of a particular Orange theme – the lack of toilets in a park.
While the saga over providing toilets in Robertson Park has been the topic of many a council discussion, historian Elizabeth Griffin, who is keen to see Banjo Paterson Park become a tourist attraction, pointed out it was also bereft of facilities.
The situation was highlighted by a sign on the Rotary Club barbecue stall.
It advised the closest public toilet was near the Visitors Centre – 5.5 kilometres away.
