Redzel’s stunning streak ended in Lightning by fast-finishing Redkirk Warrior

Redzel, the partly Orange-owned champion of 2017’s The Everest, Doomben 10,000 and Darley Classic, returned to the track in Saturday’s $750,000 Black Caviar Lightning (1000 metres) at Flemington surrounded by buzz, trainer Paul Snowden saying the star sprinter was “going to go to another level” in the lead-up.
