The Red Cross Blood Service Orange Donor Centre in Kite Street is looking to fill 25 vacant appointments on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week.
They are also seeking 25 plasma donations – a slightly longer process where just the blood’s platelets are removed – on Monday and Wednesday.
Orange City Rugby Union club and their cross-town rivals Orange Emus are in the midst of a three-month blood challenge, with a similar competition also being fought out by some of the city’s financial services providers.
