Firefighters, police and ambulance services were all called to a single-vehicle incident on Millthorpe Road at about 8pm where a car had veered off the road and onto the gravel around the train line.
Rail workers were called to the site between Millthorpe and Blayney to inspect the tracks, and with a passenger train an hour away there was a chance the train would be delayed, but the tracks were given the all-clear within the hour.
RFS Canobolas operations officer Brett Bowden said “all within the hour the job was complete and the [train] line could be re-opened”.
The driver was transported to Orange hospital.
