He is ready to move into a forever home where he can stay inside for at least the first three months.
Staying inside will enable him to get used to the smells of his new home and owners.
It will also ensure he will be safe and not wander or endanger wildlife.
Maximus is a shy cat and loud noises can scare him so he will need a quiet home. However, he has soft fur and enjoys cuddles, nose kisses and having his belly rubbed.
He is curious and likes to be up high.
Maximus also enjoys pats and will purr for days but does not particularly like being brushed.
Maximus is currently living at the RSPCA shelter in William Street and anyone who is interested in meeting him and adopting him and see him at the shelter.
