Back by popular demand, Christian Clackson as Elwood and Shane Peters as Jake are on a mission to entertain and will hit the stage in the Blues Brothers Rebooted.
Along with their band and fresh from a short break after performing on the main stage at the Parkes Elvis Festival they will perform songs from the popular 1980s hit film Blues Brothers and its 1998 sequel Blues Brothers 2000.
The show will pay tribute to both the unforgettable and infectious style of soul music and a faithful recreation of those two soul brothers who donned the black hats, dark shades and created what is now a musical institution.
This high energy, fun and polished presentation features the finest soul, rhythm and blues classics by such artists as The Temptations, The four tops and Wilson Pickett.
Peters, who performs as Jake, said he and Clackson started the show about five years ago when they were looking for a new project to do together.
We played there in 2016 and they liked us and they invited us back.

Peters said he and Clackson were talking about what they could do musically when an ad for the Blues Brothers came on.
“Me and Christian [Clackson] have worked together for nearly 17 years, this is the one [show] that’s really worked,’ he said.
Peters said this will be the second time the Blues Brothers Rebooted has come to Orange.
“We played there in 2016 and they liked us and they invited us back,” Peters said.
“We’ve just come back from the Parkes Elvis festival, it was really good, we got crowds, we played on the main stage which have about 3000 people.
“We did about eight shows.”
He said they performed from Thursday to Saturday meaning they will be fresh for the Orange show.
As well as hit songs from the show such as Gimme Some Lovin’, Shake a Tail Feather and Minnie the Moocher, Peters said they will also perform songs of a similar genre such as soul classic Mustang Sally and music by artists like Ray Charles.
Tickets includes a two course meal for $40 for members and $55 for visitors. Doors open Friday on January 19 at 6.30pm.
