A woman who did not appear in Orange Local Court for possession of methamphetamine has been fined $1650 in her absence.

Amy Jane Harrison, 27, of Long Point Road, Mullion Creek, was in custody when custodial officers found 0.3 grams of the drug in her purse.
According to police facts she had been arrested on July 10 on an outstanding warrant for possessing prohibited drugs.
She had her handbag with her when she was arrested and a small amount of illicit drugs were found and she was charged.
At about 10.30am she was waiting to be transported to custody when a custodial officer searched her bag again and found methamphetamine in her purse.
Cannabis in sock
A man who was caught with a gram of cannabis hidden in his sock represented himself when he appeared in Orange Local Court.
Gregory Paul Thurlow, 37, of Elizabeth Street, was given a 12-month good behaviour bond in Orange Local Court last Monday.
He had been driving along the Mitchell Highway at 7.15pm on November 17 when police stopped him about 500 metres from the Dairy Creek Road intersection.
Cannabis in shoe
A man who walked towards an unmarked police car and then veered away in the opposite direction when officers made eye contact, has been fined for drug possession.
Adam Stuart Dean, 36, of Noreen Place, was fined $1100 in Orange Local Court last Monday after police stopped and searched him and found 3.4 grams if cannabis in his left shoe.
Police had been monitoring an area of Phillip Street known for drug supply.
