WHILE it only dumped 6 millimetres of rain, Tuesday afternoon’s storm came in quickly and hit hard.
Wind gusts of up to 82 km/h at about 5pm claimed several trees.
But the major change was the temperature.
The heat had been steadily increasing all day, reaching 28.5 degrees by 4pm.
But from there, it plummeted, falling to 16.8 degrees by 5pm, not long after the rain started falling.
