Police warn of break and enters at residential and commercial properties

Police are investigating a number of break and enters including one on Lake Canobolas Road where intruders entered a property and ate a number of food items and slept in beds on the premises.

The incident happened some time between Tuesday, December 19 and Friday, January 5.

Police are also investigating the break and enter of a hotel in Byng Street over the weekend.

Thieves entered the property and stole a wallet from the hotel’s foyer.

A number of items were also stolen from a house on Icely Road at around 12.45pm on Saturday.

Entry was gained after thieves kicked in a door.

A break and enter also occurred at a property in Frederica Street at around 12.24pm on Saturday.

A children’s red Honda motorbike was stolen from a garage on the property.
