And if you want to celebrate it in Orange book Friday February 2 on your calendar for the annual Burns Supper at the Orange City Bowling Club’s Starlight room from 6.30pm for 7pm.
Guest speaker for the event will be retired artist, art restorer and historian John Webeck.
He will talk about how Burns was inspired by the genetic memory of his ancestors to write great works.
The evening will include a three course meal with haggis and Athol Brose, a Scottish drink.
