Holding a meet and greet in Robertson Park, Mr Donato said he enjoyed meeting people and talking about issues affecting Orange.
“It’s an opportunity to get out into the community and meet in a more informal setting,” Mr Donato said.
He said a broad range of issues had been raised, including power prices.
However, the two issues of the container deposit scheme and the NSW government’s $2.4bn decision to rebuild two stadiums in Sydney stood out.
“They’re the overwhelming issues in the community at the moment, because people feel like they’re missing out,” he said.
Daniel Barresi came to talk to Mr Donato about changes to worker’s compensation which will come into effect on Boxing Day.
