The OHS circus class, called PIPS, has been running at the final Storytime of the year for over half a decade and is drawing to a close due to changes in the curriculum and class numbers.
Orange High School student Paris Robinson said the PIPS course had been “great”.
“We’re only doing it for one year so this is the last performance we’re going to do,” she said.
“But the year’s been great, we’ve learnt a lot with Mr Baker, he’s a great teacher.
“I’ll definitely miss it.”
She said she’d loved the whole course, but her favourite part of the course had been gymnastics.
“I’m a dancer so I’m not a gymnast but I fitted into that component of the course really well and enjoyed it.”
Orange City Librarian Sean Brady said circus Storytime was a hit.
“Everyone loves circus Storytime, it’s an opportunity for dressing up and we all love dressing up,” he said.
“It’s a nice end to the year … it’s sad to see it finish up.”
Storytime’s final day for 2017 is Thursday.
