In division one, Vintage Street remains unbeaten, a 4-4 draw with Looney Tunes the closest any side has come to knocking the competition leaders off.
Outside that Vintage Street – led by the likes of Brodie Christopherson and Cody Ramsey – hasn’t had too much trouble, with all but one of its wins coming by three touchdowns or more.
Vintage Street takes on the second-placed Smurfs as the men’s competitions return to action after last week’s general bye.
The women’s competitions are also coming back from the bye, with Shockwave and Wii Not Fit both trying to extend their unbeaten runs in division three.
Neither of the sides have suffered a defeat yet, however Shockwave sits one point clear atop the standings because its had one draw compared to Wii Not Fit’s two.
One of the latter side’s draws was against Shockwave, the two sides won’t meet again until the new year.
The junior and mixed competitions are also in action again in this week’s ninth round, which will also be COTA’s first themed round of the year, a footy socks theme.
