Those who have been growing the hair on their upper lip for Movember will be able to enter their moustache in a competition to find the best.
As well as finding the city’s best moustache, it will also be feature as the launch of the Beer Keeper Ale.
The ale is a collaboration between Vittoria’s 1859 Central Ranges Brewing and Sydney’s Young Henrys using local produce including Beekeepers Inn stringy bark honey.
The beer is a tribute to Grant Lockwood and money from sales will be donated to the Men’s Shed at Borenore.
“Two very important elements of this launch are the use of Lockwood local honey in ‘The Beer Keeper’, and giving back,” Greenhouse of Orange manager Brian Cook said.
“By talking about men’s health and raising money that will immediately benefit local men, we hope we’re contributing to a community where it’s okay for men to face their health issues.”
