Now, two years after the start of the first project, a grant from the NSW Environmental Trust of $54,000 will allow the next phase of the project – REVIVE 2 – to continue work that Brian Parker, Supervisor Parks and Recreation at Blayney Shire Council, is excited about.
“We’re going to be moving upstream of where we’ve been working and concentrating on improving the river banks and water environment,” he said.
A barbecue lunch and guided tour of the site will be held at Kurt Fearnley Park at 12pm on Saturday.
