Seventeen-year-old Dylan Clarke was exploring his options at the expo.
”I’ve quite enjoyed coming here and getting some experience looking for jobs,” he said.
He’s looked for part-time work in Orange without luck, although has found work experience with a local dog groomer.
“I’ve looked for work plenty of times and plenty of times I’ve been unfortunate ... but what can you do,” he said.
Lynton Robbins finished his HSC this year and isn’t sure what he wants to do.
“I want to jump straight into [work] but I’ll do some TAFE if it requires it,” he said.
He said the expo had been worth attending.
“It helps people like me looking for a trade or apprenticeships out a lot and saves them going out and asking bosses if they have spots.”
