A man who used another person’s debit card to purchase $30 in mobile phone credit was given an 18-month good behaviour bond on Monday.

Graham Gregory Gersbach, 35, of Garema Road, was charged after the credit was used on his phone.
He used the card to purchase the phone credit on April 15. On April 16, the card’s owner reported it lost and discovered seven transactions totalling $291.70 had been made.
Gersbach was arrested on May 2.
