The pair donated their time to paint a white ribbon on the grassed roof over the Orange Regional Museum on Sunday to raise awareness about domestic violence.
Using football oval line-marking paint to avoid damaging the grass their message is 11.5 metres tall and six metres wide.
Orange NSW White Ribbon Committee chair Nicole Paterson said it recognised the 1232 reported incidents of domestic violence in the Canobolas Local Area Command police district which includes Orange, in the past year.
“Of those almost 340 were deemed to be a serious threat, where the victim was at risk of homicide or serious injury,” she said.
The 24 hour White Ribbon treadmill relay, sponsored by the Orange Ex-Services’ Club, will start on Friday outside the museum.
