The school has 16 students who will dance in the annual public schools song and dance extravaganza.
The students are being taught their routine by teacher Linda Corben who is getting involved for the first time this year.
It is the second time the school’s Schools Spectacular coordinator Elise Neilson has been involved as a teacher, but she said she has been involved since her daughter, who has just completed the HSC was eight years old.
Mrs Neilson said the school became involved in the Schools Spectacular in 2008 as part of a small school selection.
"Then we were selected in our own right in 2014 and then we did it in 2016,” Mrs Neilson said.
“This year the dancers got in, previously we’ve had the choir, some of the kids [going this year] went last year as well.
“It’s so exciting, it’s two weeks away, it’s come up very quickly and there’s a lot of work to do.
“The kids who went last year had a ball, the experience is something they never forget in their lives and for some kids to go twice is extra special.”
Mrs Neilson said the students would perform in a Beatles themed section of the country schools group.
The Schools Spectacular will take place at the Qudos Bank Arena on Friday and Saturday, November 24 and 25.
Other Orange schools taking part are Anson Street School, Bletchington Public School, Calare Public School, Canobolas Rural Technology High and Orange High School.
They will be among more than 5700 student performers, including a 2700 voice choir, 2400 dancers, a 100-piece symphony orchestra, world-class stage band, 44 solo singers, d’Arts Ensemble, and dancers.
