Clever sledging is golden in Test cricket - pity about the rest of it

As the ol' adage goes, never meet your heroes; you'll only be left disappointed. But bugger that for a thought. Last week, fuelled by one-too-many glasses of personality imbibed before the entrees, I sidled up beside Sam Kekovich at one of those 10-a-table lunches (hosted by the Drummoyne Water Polo Club. Kudos by the way, on a job well done). Grabbed the selfie; the whole shooting match. Proper once-in-a-lifetime stuff. After all, Kekovich is Australia's "Lambassador" to the United Nations.
