POLICE ROUNDS: Driver’s blood-alcohol reading five times limit
Orange police have charged a man with high-range drink driving after he returned a reading over five times the limit.

Officers say they stopped the 42-year-old man as he was driving on Anson Street on Sunday and he then failed a roadside breath test.
The driver returned a reading of 0.279 at Orange police station and he will face Orange Local Court on December 8.
Elsewhere around Canobolas Local Area Command;
- Officers are investigating a break and enter on Spring Street between 7pm on Sunday and 8.30am on Monday. Thieves broke through a door at an educational facility and stole cash.
- A 20-year-old man was charged with assault and malicious damage on Sunday. Police say the man assaulted a 20-year-old woman and damaged property in a domestic violence related incident. The Man will face Orange Local Court on October 26.
- A 33-year-old man was charged with stealing on Sunday, October 15. Police say the man entered a Peisley Street supermarket and took a number of items and concealed them before leaving without paying for the items. The man will face Orange Local Court on November 20.
