A NSW Ambulance spokesman said paramedics treated two patients at the scene of the accident.
One of the patients was three-year-old child.
The spokesman said both patients were taken to Orange hospital just before 1pm in a stable condition for further observation.
A two-car accident has halted traffic in one lane of the Summer Street in front of Cook Park.
Firefighters, police and paramedics are in attendance as the vehicles are recovered from the road.
The accident happened after around 12.25pm on Friday.
Paramedics are currently assessing two patients.
