At least four types of wattle are blooming and a huge rarity of birds are about at this time of the year.
My suggestions to help the Ophir Trust Board are as follows:
Bring your own toilet paper; pick up the rubbish, both yours and others; if using detectors fill up your holes; if driving four-wheel-drives be careful about walking tracks; bring your own firewood; report woodcutters taking away ute loads of wood; when walking the tracks bring empty cans back to the bins; and keep dogs controlled.
Our very favourite place at Ophir had a garbage bag, full of rum and coke bottles and other rubbish, left at the base of a tree. Every walking track has flattened aluminium cans left at the side.
If every visitor can leave it better than when they arrive it would be wonderful. Be a friend to Ophir.
