A woman who was sentenced to four months in jail for stealing $23.10 worth of food from an Orange shopping centre on June 21, had her appeal upheld and sentenced reduced in Orange District Court.

Leanne Maree Ostini, 20, of Wahratta Way, was to spend from June 22 to October 21 behind bars but Judge Robyn Tupman reduced the sentence to a six-month good behaviour bond earlier this month.
Judge Tupman also took into account the 63 days Ostini spent in custody for the crime.
