MORE than 4500 people made their way through the turnstiles at Sunday’s Molong Show.

Among the crowd were member for Calare Andrew Gee, who opened proceedings, and member for Orange Phil Donato.

The 153rd running of the event provided an action-packed schedule at the Euchareena Road showgrounds, with a highlight of this year’s program was the whip-cracking workshop conducted of Walter Whip and the The Flames.

There were also the traditional cattle, sheep, dog and poultry judging competitions, while the City of Orange Brass Band marked the occasion with two performances.

Seventeen-year-old Jessica Burgess was crowned 2017 showgirl.
