As the year progresses, they come to resemble our year, from an neat, cleanly handwritten January to the quickly scrawled notes.

Not only that, but we throw little tidbits in our diaries – shopping lists, notes, scraps of paper with dainty doodles or whismical thoughts. 

One Orange resident has found out the hard way how much their diary meant, calling us in distress, having lost their green, A5 diary in the CBD – complete with notes and family recipes.

Despite retracing their steps, searching for clues and looking for tracks, the diary has yet to surface.
