Dancers from across the Central West have gathered in Orange to compete in both solo and group sections.
Among them was Tyler Dent, 14, of Orange, who is part of the Central West Performing Arts dance school.
"I started dancing when I was three, then began solo when I turned five," she said.
"I do all stars, which includes modern, contemporary, jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, song and dance."
Tyler has competed at eisteddfods since she was five, and with that comes a busy training schedule.
"I practice five days a week, for about three to four hours every afternoon."
She performed on Wednesday and Tuesday with some success, but has higher goals.
"I have a couple of highly commended awards already, but I'm aiming to place during these championships.”
The dance section will wrap up on Sunday.
