Now the Blayney Hay Bale Art Challenge has become so popular it’s been nominated as a national finalist by the Australian Event Awards for 2017.
Through a rigorous reviewing process, the panel determined that the Blayney Hay Bale Art Challenge was a stand-out and a hot contender in this year’s awards.
It was also nominated for Australia’s Favourite Event.
Scott Ferguson said the event symbolises the true meaning of community.
“It’s where the power of connection, a spirit of adventure, relationship building and working collaboratively has delivered significant benefits to the area through visitation, economic growth and development to our small, rural area,” he said.
Event Organiser, Melanie Monico said that it was truly a great honour to be recognised as a national finalist.
“This accolade showcases the dedication, passion and commitment of a small group of locals with a shared vision.”
