She has had her share of injury setbacks in recent times, but former Kinross Wolaroi School triathlete Tamsyn Moana-Veale has certainly made a return to form.

After missing the bulk of the 2014 and 15 racing seasons, two podium finishes in Europe this month are a good sign for Moana-Veale.
It is the first time in four years she has managed to pull off that feat and it will help her as she pursues a spot on Australia’s Commonwealth Games team.
It is also a good reward for all the hard work she has put in at training.
“I train three times a day, plus gym three to four times a week. Except for Sunday, which is usually just a long run,” she told theperformancekitchen.
“Mostly we swim, bike and run every day, but occasionally we’ll double run.”
She began July with a third placing at the Holten Sprint Triathlon in the Netherlands, the race part of the European Cup circuit.
Moana-Veale has enjoyed success in the past at Holten with a fifth in the junior women’s race in 2011 and a third in elite company in 2013.
This time around she clocked a time of one hour, two minutes and five seconds to place third behind Dutch professional Rachel Klamer (1:01.24).
Following that, on Sunday Moana-Veale placed second in the elite women’s category in the AJ Bell London Triathlon.
Her time of 2:03.30 for the 12.5km swim, 40km cycle and 10km run also ranked her 28th outright and first in the 20-24 years female category.
