Played at Peak Hill Oval, both the Roosters and Rhinos had their chances to claim a victory but in the end the two sides couldn’t be separated.
It was a crucial result, although a win would’ve been better, for the Roosters. They hold down fourth spot with three games remaining in the regular season.
For the Rhinos, they remain at the top of the standings.
Trundle dashed Eugowra’s finals hopes, running out convincing winners 50-14. The Boomers are showing the form they’ll need to make it to their third straight grand final.
Canowindra took down the winless Burrangong Bears as well, winning 48-26.
Three wins outside the top five, the Tigers need win their last three games and hope other results fall their way to feature in the post-season.
In the last game of the round, Cargo travelled to play Condobolin.
Still down on players, the Blue Heelers ran out 48-34 victors after leading by just four points a the half-time break.
The Rams drop out of the five as a result.
In Youth League Trundle and Condobolin won, while in league tag Eugowra, Burrangong and Cargo all had wins.
