Team 2 Burke cruised past Team 5 Matters, with wins for Jasper Matters, Yvonne Tracey, Scott Burke and Rod Bevan, while Belinda Thurtell broke her hoodoo by beating Chris Elkington for the first time since 2005.
Team 1 Riley beat Team 6 Brearley, with wins for Sonja Fitzgerald, Charlie Locke, George Eleftheriou and Peter Brearley, while Lisa Doherty shot out to a two-game lead before her opponent Tom Riley clicked into gear, coming back to win in five games.
Team 3 Garton hammered Team 4 Middleton with wins for Steve Blackwood, Kym Knight, Nathan Garton and Charles Daquino, while Ian Middleton saved two match points to fall over the line 10-9 in the decider in what was a fabulous match to watch.
