Students from Anson Street School, Bletchington Public School, Calare Public School, Canobolas Rural Technology High School and Orange High School have successful auditioned for the 2017 Schools Spectacular.
They will perform in the combined choir, combined dance, D’Arts Ensemble and Aboriginal Dance Ensemble.
Auditions are continuing for other performers including bands, orchestras and a drama ensemble.
Last year the Schools Spectacular set a Guinness World Record for the largest variety concert in the world and this year it will return on November 24 and 25 at QUDOS Bank Arena at Sydney Olympic Park.
Now in its 34th year, the popular extravaganza will star 5700 students, including a choir of 2700 singers, 2400 dancers, a 100-piece symphony orchestra, world-class stage band, 44 solo singers and 145-featured dancers.
Creative Director Sonja Sjolander said that this year’s theme is Own The Moment.
