St Mary’s Catholic Primary School as well as Calare, Bletchington, Orange East, Anson Street and Orange public schools will take part in the challenge.
Australian Red Cross Blood Service’s John Feist said there were 218 donations made from the schools last year and the most came from Calare Public School whose representatives made 88 donations.
“It’s to help us over the winter period when regular donors have to cancel donations due to colds and flu,” he said.
