Victorian horticulturalist Neil Barraclough has spent 30 years travelling to the Central West to instruct people on grafting and will run the workshop at Nashdale between 10am and 2pm.
Cargo resident Kathy Wicks organised Mr Barraclough to attend the workshop and said he specialises in heritage and rare fruits.
On Thursday he will cover grafting apple, pear, cherry, plums, mulberry, peach and apricot trees.
Mrs Wicks said enrollments have already doubled from 12 participants at a similar workshop last year.
Bookings are required and a grafting tree will be provided.
To book and receive the venue address phone Kathy Wicks on 6364 3207.
