Police pulled over Cornellissens’ blue Holden Commodore at 4pm on April 14 and saw an ice pipe thrown from the car.
Cornellissens said his name was Trevor, with a birthdate of June 7 1994, and was searched before testing positive to methylamphetamine.
He told police he must have been spiked at the pub the previous weekend.
He did not attend Orange Local Court on Monday and was fined in his absence.
Magistrate Terry Lucas also disqualified him from driving for six months.
