The plane was found to be “un-serviceable” but the airline found a replacement aircraft in Sydney which arrived in Orange at 10.45am on Monday.
It was an hour and a half later than first expected.
One of the passengers aboard the plane was state arts minister Don Harwin who was visiting to announce arts funding during a 10am press conference he called in Orange.
