Last Sunday the trail running group staged its second ever run, running a revised 11.5km route at Mitchell’s Way, taking in the environs of Mt Canobolas before the regular Sunday run.

There were 11 competitors, nine men and two women.
Iain McLean beat the field home in 53:56, with Felix Koeppen coming in second at 55:36. Sue Betts and Alison Spurway came in at 84:00.
The regular weekly Sunday morning run was held afterwards at CSU Orange, where 59 members had the choice of one to five laps of a hilly, sealed 1-6km route around the campus.
The first two finishers by gender for each distance:
1.6km – men: Lachlan Ross (7:16), Noah Lamrock (7:20); women: Josephine and Sally Kitto (22:04).
3.2km – men: Logan Whiteley (14:59), Hugh Daintith (15:25); women: Sophie Martin (14:37), Abby Dean (15:33).
4.8km – men: Steve Martin (21:19), John Connolly (24:59); women: Jessie Dean (22:17), Estelle Dean (23:39).
6.4km – men: Alistair Merrifield (30:27), Nicholas Thomas (33:38); women: Ella Lamrock (34:05), Renai McArdle (41:13)
8km - men: Daryl Roweth (36:56), Jack Daintith (39:44).
Congratulations to all who participated, Steve Martin was declared the winner, he also ran the fastest lap, clocking 6:35.
The Wednesday afternoon Elephant Park 3 lap handicap event saw 42 competitors take part cold conditions.
The fastest men were Alistair Merrifield (11:43), Jack Daintith (11:49) and Noel Annett (11:52). The fastest ladies were Jessie Dean (11:33), Leanne Corcoran (12:02) and Estelle Dean (12:16).
Fastest lap of the Elephant Park circuit was clocked by Jessie Dean at 3:30. PBs were achieved Jamie Corcoran (12:48) and Abby Dean (15s).
Leanne Corcoran was declared the overall winner. Well done to all who took part.
This Sunday sees the club back at Elephant Park, with the opportunity to run 1-4 laps of the 2.6km Endeavour Oval circuit, from 9am at the shed.
Please note that for winter the Wednesday Handicap Time Trial run at Elephant Park will commence at 4:45pm with a mass start.
