The Walan Mayinygu Indigenous Entrepreneurship Pop Up Hub project will run a week-long program in Dubbo August 28 to September 1. The program has been developed by Associate Professor Michelle Evans and is a partnership of CSU, the NSW government and Indigenous Business Australia. Successful Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander entrepreneurs will be joined by CSU lecturers and executive educators from the Melbourne Business School and UNSW to run the program.

The Dubbo event is designed to strengthen Indigenous entrepreneurship and business know-how and will include workshops and masterclasses on thinking like an entrepreneur, legal and financial issues, management and social media engagement. For the farming community, the Graham Centre’s annual sheep forum will be held at CSU Wagga Wagga on Friday 7 July and will showcase the latest research from the centre and industry.

The 2017 forum will cover production and soil management, use of technology (including drones), sheep health and feed supplementation.
