One of the 15 division one winning tickets was sold at Nextra Newsagency at the Orange City Centre.

Owners Maureen and Paul Blunden have seen a few winners in 19 years, including a ticket of $1 million, but the Saturday’s $1.4 million is the largest ticket they’ve sold.

The winning numbers were 29, 43, 5, 13, 32 and 1 with supplementary numbers 40 and 38.

The winning ticket is unregistered and the player is anonymous.

“We’re still searching for the player, it’s not our first winner and we would love to say congratulations,” Mr Blunden said.

“It’s amazing to think one of our customers is now a millionaire.

“Or, at least they will be as soon as they check their ticket and claim their prize.

“We hope it’s one of our regulars, but it could be someone who was just passing through.”

NSW Lotteries spokesman Matt Hart said they were keen to unite the winner and the cash.

“That’s why we’re urging all Saturday Lotto players from the Orange region to check their tickets as soon as possible,” Mr Hart said.

“If you discover you are holding the division one winning ticket, contact NSW Lotteries on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
