In 2016 we set out to deliver improved transport networks, funding for local schools and preschools and to build infrastructure projects to benefit the community far and wide.
Last week, we visited Orange to assure this region that, not only have we delivered on those promises, but we will continue to go above and beyond.
We don’t just do things at election time, we do things all the time.
I acknowledge that we have had our ups and downs in the past, but this doesn’t change our commitment to this region.
I am determined to fight for the people of this electorate, to make sure that no matter who represents them in Parliament, they still get their fair share.
On our trip to Orange, myself and the Minister for Roads Melinda Pavey announced more than $3.4 million in funding for Orange City Council as part of the NSW Government’s ‘Fixing Country Roads’ initiative.
This is just one of the many projects underway in the region on top of the commitments promised at the byelection last year.
Our focus is simply on how we can help to build and grow this unique community and we are in an unprecedented position to make real change in this region.
I am excited for the next two years and the NSW Nationals will continue to do everything we can to ensure growth for the diverse communities that make up the Central West.
