Danielle and Justin Clark have made a tree change from Camden to take over the Summer Street premises.
As well as 3am starts, Mrs Clark said 17-hour days weren’t uncommon when they first took over, but they’re getting into the swing of things.
“It’s been a roller-coaster ride, with very early starts,” she said.
“We’ve been so lucky because Dot and Tony, the former owners, have helped out massively.
“We would have struggled more without Dot and Tony and our staff.”
It’s not just Mr and Mrs Clark behind the counter, but the couple’s two children have been helping out.
“We have a lot of loyal customers that we see every day and we’ve gotten to know a few people as a result,” Mrs Clark said.
GROWING SERVICE
DISABILITY employment services in Orange are now being provided by VERTO.
The not-for-profit organisation helps helps businesses and individuals with employment and training, offering Aboriginal services, Australian Apprenticeships services and disability services.
CEO Ron Maxwell was excired by the expansion.
“We are thrilled to be able to extend our high-quality disability employment services to Cowra, Orange, Young and surrounds,” Mr Maxwell said.
“We have been a five star provider in Bathurst since September 2016 and we look forward to extending our high quality service.”
VERTO is based at 21-29 William Street.
