The work of the Blayney Bears’ female supporters and players is to be celebrated in the club’s Ladies’ Day at King George Oval this Sunday.

Organisers Lewis Bird and Charlie Mortimer said that the day was all about celebrating the women in rugby league and all the work that they do.
“From the work that they do in the canteen to the parents who drive their kids to training and matches and also come and watch, it’s about thanking all of them who are involved in any way with the game,” Mortimer said.
On the day there will be a marquee with free Mortimer’s wine for all the ladies there, nibblies and some live music by the players in the under 18s.
