Lara McManus, 24, of Karimi Way, was in the right-hand eastbound lane waiting at a green light to turn right into Sale Street.
Another car in the opposite direction was also waiting to turn right at 8.15pm on December 7, 2016.
McManus’s solicitor Nidal Abdi said a west bound motorbike changed lanes behind the other stopped vehicle so it could go straight through the intersection.
However, with her view obstructed by the other car, McManus started to turn right.
The motorbike crashed into the back of her car causing the rider to go over the handlebars.
He hit her car and landed on the road injuring his wrist.
He was taken to Orange hospital by ambulance for treatment.
McManus was fined $300 for not giving way to an oncoming vehicle while turning right.
“She knew she shouldn’t have been driving,” Mr Abdi said.
She was also fined $500 and disqualified from driving for 12 months for driving while suspended.
Driver suspended
A woman who was stopped for a random breath test was caught driving with a suspended licence on March 20.
Louise Simpson, 27, of Woodbine Close, was fined $300 and disqualified from driving for 12 months for driving with a suspended licence.
Her licence had been cancelled from January 6 to April 5 due to demerit points.
However, her solicitor Mr Abdi said Simpson thought her licence was suspended due to fine default.
