Gutterson, in year nine, has only been riding the pair for six short months but, testament to her dedication, she still came away with a national championship and a silver buckle on both of her horses against more seasoned and experienced riders.
Not a bad way to make your national titles debut.
It was Gutterson’s maiden appearance at the Quarter Horse Nationals.
She claimed the youth western pleasure national title on FB Cee Im Lazy and also came away with the youth hack national gong aboard Little Rock Lord Lazy.
